I'm Tina King, an experienced freelance writer in love with concise, conversational storytelling.

I've been at this a while - more than 19 years - so I'm a no-hand-holding required kind of gal. I'm also quick, as I wrote for more than 12 years for metropolitan daily newspapers. I've spent more than seven years writing for a variety of magazines.

My clients include/included: Midwest Living, My Midwest (in-flight), Life:Beautiful, The Omaha World-Herald, Omaha Magazine, Nebraska Life and The Indianapolis Star. I also worked as a staff writer for The Indianapolis Star, The Greenville (S.C.) News and The Cincinnati Enquirer.

I enjoy copywriting too, and happily take on projects that don't intermingle with those I cover in my editorial work. I've written web copy, collateral material and press releases for business and non-profit clients.
